It seems that my friend Chris Carr just can’t stay away from award nominations. Not content with the two Webbys we almost won for The Toadlickers, his latest production Victims has just been nominated for Film London’s Best of Boroughs Awards 2011.
The short film is supported by singer & Strictly Come Dancing star, Alesha Dixon, who regards its theme of domestic violence as so “close to my heart,” that she became an Associate Producer.
Starring Hattie Morahan (Outnumbered, Sense and Sensibility) and Briana Corrigan (The Beautiful South), it was produced by Chris Carr and shot with one of the first Sony F3s in the UK.
