I am delighted to announce that The International Academy of Visual Arts has just awarded The Toadlickers (the music video I directed and produced for multi Grammy nominated artist, Thomas Dolby,) ‘GOLD’ at The 7th Annual Davey Awards. This is the second award The Toadlickers has won, having been awarded ‘GOLD’ in the W3 Awards, earlier this month.
Thanks, once again, for all of the hard work by everyone involved, including Thomas Dolby, his band, Kevin Armstrong (banjo), Matthew Seligman (bass), Justin Hildreth (drums), Aaron Jonah Lewis (fiddle), our burlesque dancers Millie Dollar & Sophia St Villier, our Parkourists Urban Freeflow, choreographer Rosalind Masson, hair & make up artist Kathleen Beller, stylist Tommy Lloyd-Baker, Playback Pirate Andrew Down, After Effects Pirate Darren Goldsmith, miscellaneous members of The Flat Earth Society for running, driving, assisting and toadlicking, Paul Spencer for making it possible to shoot at his festival, Production Manager… and Assistant Director… and Camera Operator Chris Carr for services above & beyond the call of duty and, of course, Evil Puppet Master Mike Quinn for his fantastic puppetry and post production work!
