It seems that my friend Chris Carr<\/a> just can’t stay away from award nominations. Not content with the two Webbys<\/a> we almost won for The Toadlickers<\/a>, his latest production Victims<\/a> has just been nominated for Film London’s Best of Boroughs Awards 2011. <\/p>\n

The short film is supported by singer & Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> star, Alesha Dixon, who regards its theme of domestic violence as so \u201cclose to my heart,\u201d that she became an Associate Producer.<\/p>\n

Starring Hattie\u00a0Morahan (Outnumbered, Sense and Sensibility) and Briana Corrigan (The Beautiful South), it was produced by Chris Carr and shot with one of the first Sony F3<\/a>s in the UK.<\/p>\n
