I’m delighted to see that, after a 12 year absence, The Muppets are finally back with a brand new movie. I’m even more delighted that it is a film which my friend Mike Quinn had a hand in…quite literally. Though it was touch and go, so to speak, as the day before he was due to fly off to LA to start work on ‘The Muppets’, he was still putting the finishing touches to the puppetry for The Toadlickers – the promo I directed for Thomas Dolby.
The Muppets opens in screens across The US today. If you like me can’t wait for Kermit to cross the pond, then here’s a preview featuring some dancing chickens performing Cee Lo Green’s ‘Forget You’…or as I’ll be referring to it henceforth, ‘Cluck You!’
