I am delighted to announce that The International Academy of Visual Arts has just awarded The Toadlickers (the music video I directed and produced for multi Grammy nominated artist, Thomas Dolby,) ‘GOLD’ at The 7th Annual Davey Awards. Following months, nay years, of speculation, Canon has finally announced its new flagship DSLR, the EOS-1D X. It amalgamates the advantages of the slower full frame 1-Ds line and the faster APS-H 1D line, into one new flagship camera that supersedes both the Canon 1-Ds Mark III and the Canon 1-D Mark IV. Last week I appeared on the ‘What Makes a Great Music Video‘ panel at Sensoria Pro, with Martyn Ware of Heaven 17.
Sensoria is an annual film and music festival that takes place in Sheffield a (northern English) city boasting a rich musical heritage that includes Cabaret Voltaire, The Human League, Heaven 17, ABC, Pulp, The Arctic Monkeys, Def Leppard, Moloko, The Longpigs and Reverend & The Makers.
